The game operates on a 1:1 ic:ooc day ratio. The in-game calendar mirrors that of the real world's. If it's July offline, then it's July in game!

For the spiritually sensitive, the entire school pings haunted as FUCK. It is safe to assume that every single area reeks of dangerous ghost activity.

Characters may wander the school and the locations below without being attacked, but as a general rule, the longer a character spends outside of the safety of their dorm, the more likely they will attract the attention of a malevolent ghost.

Characters will be woken up each morning at 6:00 a.m. by the school bell, which also signifies the cafeteria's opening. Good luck sleeping through that noise!

Curfew is at 12:00 a.m. Characters are expected to be back in their dorms by then. There is nothing enforcing this, and nothing bad will happen if characters stay out past 12:00 a.m. . . at least, not yet. Are you willing to push your luck?

RE: SPENDING THE NIGHT IN ANOTHER TEAM'S DORM: Characters may do this without any ill effects for one night! From the second night onward, they will begin to suffer from various nightmares, and their omamoris will start to grow cool as the magic begins to fade. Sleeping in the proper team dormitory will stop the nightmares and recharge the omamori back to full power. So basically: characters may spend one night away from home with no ill effects, but will have to return home the next night to avoid them. This can be alternated! i.e. a character may stay at Kenkou one night, then Shiawase, then back to Kenkou, then back to Shiawase, without suffering from these same effects. Just as long as every other night is spent in the team dorm, it's all good!

Located right past the school entrance is the lobby. Glass cases with a variety of displayed awards-- rusted trophies, grimy plaques, frames with faded newspaper clippings-- line the walls.

But the most notable part of the lobby are the portraits that hand above the cases. They all seem to be of previous students. . . ? But their eyes have been marked out in dark, black ink. Underneath is portrait is a name (all of the names belonging to non player characters are illegible), along with the word GRADUATED.
