2 questions!
1.) for characters without powers or weapons, since they have nothing to regain, will they be able to pick up powers during the game?
2.) if a character would from the start just go by their true/real name (he is this dumb im sorry), is that fine?
2.5) sorry, if a character is someone who has a lot of aliases in canon could we just have their true name be their name they identify with and use one of their many aliases for every day use?
<-- this brought to you by someone who's brain goes a little like sludge when i consider giving characters completely new names

Question! If I have a character who [Gokumon Nadeshiko spoilers][has a constitution that naturally attracts monsters, much like Anzen's curse, can I still play with that even if she doesn't get sorted onto Anzen? Obviously I would play it as being weaker/less attractive than Anzen's version of it where relevant, but I wanted to check if that kind of overlap is okay at all!]
Dumb question, but...
Suppose you're apping a character with an alter-ego. Not quite an alternate personality. Not a 'ghost' or other entity that is hanging around attached to the character and is 'along for the ride'. Each one either considers themselves completely separate. Example, one believes the second one is someone else entirely. The other believes the first one doesn't exist.
I'll go ahead and say, Ryoko Otonashi believes Junko Enoshima is an entirely different person and has no idea she herself is a lobotomized (over-simplification, but lets go with that) Junko Enoshima. Junko Enoshima occasionally creeps into Ryoko's personality or otherwise outright takes over her consciousness. She believes "Ryoko Otonashi never existed in the first place."
In which case... would the name thing transfer over for both? Ryoko occasionally talks about Junko Enoshima without knowing the truth about herself. So would someone knowing the name Junko Enoshima count as her true name, or only when Junko Enoshima occasionally hijacks her consciousness?

SO OK might be apping Murderbot/SecUnit, which is a construct that is made of both machine parts and cloned human tissue. It looks human, but it's not and hates being mistaken for one. Can I say that it has its armor/suit that includes a face obscuring helmet + voice modulator so that it can pretend it is a Beep Boop Noface Robot? Obv I will nerf things like actually being cool space armor; it's mostly just the machine face and voice mod I wanna keep.
its skintight armor so it can for sure be worn under a school uniform for Maximum Kawaii
I'm trying to find just the suit without the armor plating WHICH I KNOW EXISTS ALEX SKARSGARD LOVES TO GO ON TIKTOK WITH IT ON but if you google "murderbot armor" basically just that without the plating part, just the silver stuff underneath.

Regarding Shiawase's curse! For it to be in effect does the touching have to be skin to skin contact, or does it still count if there's fabric or armour or what have you will in between (e.g. grabbing someone by the sleeve, if a character is wearing gloves, etc.)?
Hewwo Al, I'm here to be a problem child.
If it's not a huge inconvenience, would it be possible to remove color:#111; from the yearbook profile code? Since it's defining a font color it makes it unreadable on different dw skins that use darkmode colors. I know it's prolly too late for everyone who's already done their codes but for... the future....

OKAY regarding names: If your character canonically has a stupidass code name (IT'S LITERALLY THE FUCKING LETTER "C"), would that also count as a name they Shouldn't Use?
The most unimportant question yet, but...
If we want to play a bit fast and loose with flowers does that work, or are you looking for more traditional flowers? Like where are we standing on something like millet?

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but would it be possible to get a dicebot in the discord server? Just for those of us who like rolling for silly things in threads.
silly question i meant to ask earlier, are the flower tattoos in on ly one location on the character or could i do, oh say, one wrapped around her arm and another around her leg-
So, powers are gone when the game starts. The teams section mentions,
"Those who are spiritually/magically attuned may notice something strange about these tattoos: they reek of cursed magic."
Does some very basic level of magical senses slip under the power restriction, just enough to sense basic stuff like "this is cursed", "this other person is magic", etc.?

ANOTHER QUESTION
SecUnit has an internal drive full of tv. Not infinite, but also the full runs of several long shows (all from thousands of years in the future) which it can project for shared viewing. Is it OK for it to still have this?

Helllooo!
So the Project Sekai kids have their phones that are able to access their specific group of Vocaloids, so sort of a series of questions, with the addendum that I know they'd need to regain their phones first and they would just be phones at the moment until later regains (if I read your answers correctly).
1. Would they be able to eventually regain the ability to access talking to their Vocaloids?
2. Would they be able to enter their SEKAI? ("they" just being the ones who had original access to it)
3. Are there... any phone chargers around to be found

hi darling al, i have a pow...ers...ish? question.
you may recall from yingying, who never did anything wrong, and also from my app, that Sinners like raven suffer from Mania infection, which gives them their powers and also corrupts them mentally and physically. mania is not always traditionally contagious, but at times, especially periods of high stress as a sinner begins to deteriorate and become irreversibly mutated, it can spread to the environment and others. it's stupid video game power baked into the worldbuilding, but that's the like, most basic understanding of it. there's a much longer and more technical loredump here if necessary.
long question short: when raven begins to regain her powers, will i be able to play her mania infection as active alongside them, too? will she be able to mentally and physically deteriorate under stressors? i was thinking it would play really nicely with the curse effect of yakuyoke too, as long as the mental effects of the infection were also in play for her (but if not, no worries! luckily she is kind of kooky enough on her own that her personality wouldn't change much).
(i would also be happy to introduce effects into general play as well for other players who want their characters to feel a little sickie if that was ever something you wanted to incorporate into the game or events, too, obviously never against another player's will, and not to any severe extent, just for fun flavor.)
secondary question, much shorter and straightforward: would she be able to get her hands on an ink supply and/or other writing materials/paper in the art room?
EDIT WAIT ONE MORE. if someone has the name of a common animal and other people name that animal, does that count as a true name reveal in any way? raven summons ink birds, and you'll never guess what kind they are. since this could cause problems both for our ravens and our crows, i just want to make sure!
thanks so much! you are the best! ♥

For item regains from home, I know that they cannot be game breaking or healing in any way, but what about things that are pocket dimension-y? Basically in this particular case I am talking about a painted scroll that Zuo Le was gifted that sucks him and whoever happens to be near him into the painting. The world of the painting is heavily limited in scope and size, and has to eventually be vacated (and I also assume it would leave them slightly vulnerable even as a means of escape, in that the scroll could be picked up by whatever is nearest to it at the time), but it is technically a transportation to another "world" of sorts, so I'm not sure how where that stands on game breaking.
I'd be willing to play with a lot of limitations and potential dangers in using it, but I know it can open a can of worms with acceptable items here, so would something like that even be able to work? Or best to leave that kind of item back in their own world?

in regards to the team-coloured book in their dorm, is it the same book as the one found in the starting classroom game? and is it possible to write in it like a normal journal?
is it possible to find tea or instant coffee in the cafeteria at all?
